Hypertension Diagnostics Expands U.S. Distribution Network for its CVProfilor® DO-2020 System

PAUL, MNSeptember 27, 2001Hypertension Diagnostics, Inc.  (NASDAQ SmallCap: HDII) announced today that its distribution network in the U.S. now totals eight independent distribution companies which market in ten states.  “We are establishing a distribution network that will provide HDI with an effective and efficient means to compliment our direct sales force efforts as we continue our nationwide launch of the CVProfilor® DO-2020 CardioVascular Profiling System,” said Greg H. Guettler, HDI’s President.  “Since we are primarily focusing on internal medicine, preventative cardiology, endocrinology and family practice markets, we are partnering with companies who are already promoting medical products to physicians in these specialty areas,” added Guettler.

 

  
HDI’s independent distribution network includes the following companies:

  • Applied Cardiovascular Research of Tequesta, Florida – focuses exclusively on the CVProfilor® System, serving several counties throughout Florida.

  • Brennan Medical of Elk Grove, California – specializes in cardiology and internal medicine products, in the northern California region.

  • Cardenas Medical of Reno, Nevada – specializes in cardiology and internal medicine products, serving several counties throughout Nevada .

  • Grossman and Associates of Honolulu, Hawaii – specializes exclusively in non-invasive general and family practice products, for the entire state of Hawaii.

  • Mobile Neuro Services of Newport Beach, California – specializes in mobile testing services within Los Angeles and surrounding counties.

  • Physio Medical of Jamul, California – specializes in cardiology and internal medicine products, primarily in the San Diego area.

  • Premier Medical Distributors of Princeton, Minnesota – focuses exclusively on distribution of the CVProfilor® System, serving several counties throughout Minnesota.

  • TZ Medical, Inc. of Lake Oswego, Oregon – specializes in cardiology and internal medicine products and covers Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming.

The addition of these independent distribution firms is designed to support the Company’s goal of CVProfilor®  DO-2020 placements in about 25 major metropolitan markets by June 30, 2002 .
