Arterial Elasticity Assessment and the Clinical Applications of the CVProfilor® to be Presented at Cardiovascular Meetings in China

ST. PAUL, MN September 12, 2002 – Hypertension Diagnostics, Inc. (Nasdaq SmallCap: HDII), announced today that Dr. Jay N. Cohn, Professor of Medicine in the Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota and Chief Medical Consultant to Hypertension Diagnostics was invited to China to discuss HDI’s CVProfilor® DO-2020 CardioVascular Profiling System at the Hypertension Forum of the 13th Great Wall International Conference of Cardiology, September 13-17, 2002 in Beijing. Dr. Cohn will address the benefits of arterial elasticity assessment and the clinical applications of the CVProfilor® System to approximately 500 physicians.
   

 

HDI’s Chinese distributor, ShenZhen Filiale Shen Yong Medical-Pharmacal Co., Ltd. of Shenzhen will also be exhibiting the CVProfilor® System at this meeting.
Dr. Cohn has also been invited to speak at two additional meetings during his visit to China. The Asian-Pacific Cardiothoracic-Renal Association (APCRA) is holding its 2nd Annual Meeting in Beijing and has requested that Dr. Cohn speak on heart failure, a subject about which he is considered to be an international expert. The Beijing Cardiovascular Institute and Hospital of Hebei Province and TianJin invited Dr. Cohn to provide a two-hour lecture to approximately 75 practicing physicians. This lecture will focus on the clinical applications of the CVProfilor® System.
