Announces Effectiveness of Private Placement Registration Statement
ST. PAUL, MN – April
30, 2002 – Hypertension Diagnostics, Inc., (NASDAQ
SmallCap: HDII), announced today that its Registration Statement on Form
S-3 (File No. 333-86658), filed on April 19, 2002, was declared effective
at 10:00 a.m. Washington, D.C. time by the Securities and Exchange
Commission. The Registration Statement relates to the registration of
1,970,000 shares of the Company’s Common Stock, of which 1,850,000 shares
are issuable to certain investors upon conversion of notes and exercise of
warrants issued in connection with the Company’s $2,000,000 private
placement completed on March 27, 2002.
