Position Description: Hypertension Diagnostics, Inc. (HDI), is a rapidly growing, publicly held medical device manufacturer of non-invasive cardiovascular disease detection products headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota. We are seeking an individual with a strong sales track record in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical device industry. The position of Account Manager is a full time, salaried and commissioned selling opportunity responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining customer relationships with primary care physicians - internists and family practitioners within a specific geographic territory.
 
Qualifications: We are looking for a knowledgeable, credible, relationship-oriented individual with at least 7 years of pharmaceutical or medical device experience building and developing a sales territory. Experience in conceptual and/or consultative sales is preferred. Knowledge of the hypertension and/or cardiovascular disease management market is required. The successful candidate will possess a track record of measurable accomplishments in territory development, sales revenue growth, and strong relationship development within the primary care physician market. An undergraduate degree, preferably in the sciences, and a strong medical background are required.

Responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Identify, qualify and communicate to physicians the clinical benefits associated with the use of our early-stage, non-invasive cardiovascular disease assessment device - the CVProfilor.

  • Develop and deliver credible and compelling sales presentations that result in physician acceptance of the CVProfilor.

  • Identify and develop effective relationships with key opinion leaders and other physicians in primary care medicine.

  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize conceptual and/or consultative selling techniques in delivering complex medical messages when educating physicians on the latest cardiovascular disease assessment and treatment techniques.

  • Create sales plans and access local resources necessary to achieve sales revenue targets for the CVProfilor.

  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze, evaluate and make appropriate business decisions in support of existing and potential new customers.
